Poland has provided Ukraine military support worth the equivalent of around €8.4 billion ($9 billion) over the past two years, the government said on Thursday. A total of 44 armaments packages have been handed over to Kiev, said Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski during a keynote speech in the Polish parliament. Poland has provided Ukraine with 300 tanks and combat vehicles, 14 fighter planes, plus helicopters, air defence systems and ammunition, military experts say.
